A group of Russian women have stripped naked to protest in the middle of a busy street – to support disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.
In October 2017, The New York Times and The New Yorker reported that dozens of women had accused Harvey Weinstein, a prominent American film producer, of sexual harassment, sexual assault or rape. Many more women in the film industry subsequently accused Weinstein of such acts.
And in a video which was filmed near the US embassy in Moscow, four starkers women were spotted holding signs that say “Harvey gets me excited”, “Hands off Harvey” and “I love Harvey”.
“We’re here to support Harvey Weinstein, the producer of The Lord of the Rings movies, who is bullied for being a man,” said one of the protestors.
Strange enough, a man in a bear suit joins the women, who braved the wind and rain to hold their protest.
Many Russians condemned the provocative display. One wrote: “My God, you are sick, you need to be treated.
Another said: “You do not have any brains.”
REN TV reports the ringleaders of the sick stunt were two women who were jailed after a sex guru ordered them to romp with a random man in Moscow city centre.
Anastasia Davydova and Anastasia Vashukevich were sentenced to a week behind bars after a giggling Davydova filmed Vashukevich having sex at 5am next to the river Volga.
The explicit clip shows 23-year-old Vashukevich, known as Sasha, having sex with an unidentified man.
